A Progressive Web App (PWA) is an advanced website that behaves like an app: it works offline, can have an icon on the home screen and can send push notifications. A PWA is NOT listed in the App Store or Play Store and has limited access to hardware features. A native app does run in the stores and has full hardware access. PWAs are 20–30% cheaper and faster to build, but for consumer apps that you want to distribute through the stores, a native or cross-platform app is almost always the right choice.
Yes. We work with clients throughout the Netherlands and beyond. Our studio is located in Diemen, 5 minutes by car from Amsterdam-Centre, but we collaborate fully digitally via Slack, Figma and weekly video calls. For the Amsterdam region, in-person meetings are always possible.
We work in 2-week sprints. At the end of each sprint, you receive a working version and can provide feedback. Small changes are included in the next sprint. Larger scope changes are discussed separately - we clearly explain the impact on budget and timeline, and you decide.
